Located in Elm Grove, Honest Teeth Dentistry has been caring for patients from Milwaukee and nearby communities like Wauwatosa, Brookfield, and West Allis for more than twenty years. Formerly Meinerz Family Dentistry, our practice has grown into a trusted home for families who want honest guidance and high quality dental care in a relaxed setting.
Our team provides general family dentistry with a strong focus on prevention, comfort, and long term relationships. Patients stay with us for years because they know we listen, explain every option clearly, and recommend care that fits their health goals and budget.
A practice rooted in Elm Grove and greater Milwaukee
Honest Teeth Dentistry has served Milwaukee and the surrounding communities from our Elm Grove location for the better part of the last 25 years. This long history gives us a deep understanding of what local patients need and value in a dental home.

Meet our Honest Teeth Dentists
Dr. Max Meinerz
You will quickly notice that Dr. Max treats patients like friends. Building real relationships is his favorite part of dentistry, and that focus shows in the way he listens, explains, and helps patients feel at ease.
Credentials and professional involvement. Dr. Max is a graduate of the Marquette University School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, and he stays current through regular continuing education so he can better serve his patients.
A heart for service and community. Dr. Max has coordinated and participated in six dental mission trips to Guatemala, providing care to thousands of patients in underserved and rural communities. At home, Honest Teeth maintains a strong commitment to giving back. The partners have proudly donated more than $250,000 to local nonprofits over the years.
Life outside the office. Away from dentistry, Dr. Max enjoys running, water sports, camping, cooking new recipes, and spending time with his wife, their three children, and their dog.
Dr. Kyle Krueger
You know you’re getting the complete dental experience with Dr. Krueger. He brings the same passion and focus to all of his work, from root canals and fillings to crowns and veneers.
His Background. Growing up, Dr. Kyle Krueger was interested in science and art. From a very young age, he knew that dentistry was in his future. This led him to receive his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University, graduating in the same class as Dr. Meinerz.
Drive for Excellence. Dr. Krueger joined Honest Teeth Dentistry at the beginning of 2018 and has fit in immediately. His attention to detail, and dedication to excellence, have already made him popular among our patients. He takes a very comprehensive approach to his dental work and enjoys the freedom of general dentistry, as he can perform many different treatments within one day.
Outside of Work. When he’s not working, Dr. Krueger spends most of his time with his wife, Abbey, and their two young children, Mia and Bennett. Though time with family is his main focus, he also loves spending time on the golf course with friends and colleagues. Wisconsin athletics still hold a large place in his heart and he supports the Badgers in all their endeavors.
Dr. Jonathan Klicka
Dr. Klicka has been a longstanding pillar in the Elm Grove & Milwaukee Community for over 40 years. Having had his own dental practices in the Milwaukee area, he is no stranger to hard work and dedication.
Credentials. A graduate of Marquette University in 1982, Dr. Klicka has long been providing high quality dental care for the Milwaukee Community.
His Drive For Excellence. He feels that when patients have the proper care and understanding of their treatment, then they feel more confident with their oral health. Providing the tools and knowledge to set you up for success is why he loves dentistry so much.
Outside of work. When he is not taking care of his patients, he loves swimming, spending time with his grandkids in south and west, loves traveling with wife, as well as hiking and golfing.
Jordan Annis DMD
Dr. Jordan Annis is a skilled and personable general dentist dedicated to delivering high-quality, comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. He believes exceptional dentistry is built on trust, thoughtful communication, and an elevated patient experience—where patients feel relaxed, informed, and confident in their care.
Dr. Annis earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he developed a strong clinical foundation across both preventive and advanced dental care. He enjoys practicing a broad scope of dentistry, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, implant placement, and Invisalign®, allowing him to provide streamlined, personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals.
Known for his calm chair side manner and attention to detail, Dr. Annis is passionate about creating functional, natural-looking smiles while prioritizing long-term oral health. He is committed to continuing education and staying current with modern techniques and technology to ensure care that is precise, efficient, and patient-centered.
Outside of the office, Dr. Annis enjoys golfing, staying physically active, and spending time with his wife, Tristin, and their golden retriever, Cooper. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), Brew City Study Club and the Milwaukee Odontological Academy and is proud to serve Elm Grove and the surrounding community and looks forward to building long-term relationships with patients and families.
Dr. Ben Schlenker
Dr. Ben grew up in Madison, WI and earned a B.S. in biology and a minor in sculpture at UW Madison. During his gap year, he worked at More Smiles WI (MSW), a community dental clinic in the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter of Madison where he used to volunteer frequently.
Dr. Ben graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2024 and came to love Milwaukee and the surrounding areas during his time there. He has been working with some of our partner clinics in the area during this time, giving people the smiles they love!
He loves getting to know his patients, and easing dental anxiety has been a tremendously fulfilling part of his practice. He also loves spending time with family and friends, camping, running, snowboarding, and sculpture in the medium of metal foundry when outside of the clinic.
